COLORING BOOKS DONATED TO HUECO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

El Paso, Texas – On November 18, 2022, El Paso County Sheriff's Office Deputies had the honor and privilege of meeting with retired Staff Sergeant "Pete" Flores and retired C.W.O. Officer Wayne Gilbert at Hueco Elementary in Socorro, TX. The purpose of the meeting was to present a donation of coloring books to the school. Staff Sergeant Flores is the author of these books, which teach children how to stay safe from danger. Both gentlemen are veterans of the Korean War. Staff Sergeant Flores was named Veteran of the year. Hueco Elementary faculty and staff were delighted with the presence of both gentlemen and appreciative of their dotation. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is honored that these two fine gentlemen chose our agency as a partner to present these coloring books to the school.
