El Paso, Texas - On January 14th, 2023, El Paso County Sheriff's Office Deputies with the Community Service Section attended a neighborhood watch meeting for the residents of the Panorama Community. There were approximately 40 residents who attended this meeting. Deputies gave a presentation on the purpose of the neighborhood watch program. Deputies will assist the residents of the Panorama Neighborhood become a safer community for them and their children. In addition, deputies discussed crime prevention tips to help keep the community safe. Deputies also advised the residents that if there were any law enforcement concerns, they could bring up the issue during the meeting to address it and then have it investigated.
Additionally, deputies told the residents that Sheriff Richard D. Wiles is a big advocate for neighborhood watch programs and explained the importance of the relationship between Law Enforcement Officers and the community working together to prevent crime in the area.
