"Pick Your Ride: A Safe Ride is On Us!"
The District Attorney's office is proud to launch their rideshare campaign in El Paso County in an effort to reduce drunk-driving crashes and fatalities. The District Attorney's Office aims to not only enforce the law after it is broken, but also to supply the community with legal and safe alternatives to driving while intoxicated.
Individuals in the community who have participated in drinking activities are encouraged to scan or tap the QR Code above to receive up to a $20 UBER fare credit within the El Paso County lines. The campaign, which was made possible with a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation, and endorsed by the Sun Bowl Association, will officially launch on the day of the 2023 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl game, Friday December 29th, 2023.
Your District Attorney's Office always encourages safe drinking practices, such as planning a sober ride home, designating a sober driver, staying put, calling a friend or family member, and using a Rideshare Program.
