The Probate-Civil Division is responsible for the preservation, creation, and managing of records regarding certain civil cases along with probate matters. They are assigned as the clerk of the court for certain civil matters in the County Courts of Law and Statutory Probate Courts.

To request copies, please email: ProbateRecordsRequest@epcounty.com.

WALK-IN:

  1. FILE AN ORIGINAL WILL
  • You may now file Original Wills for an existing case on a walk-in basis by visiting our office at the County Courthouse.
  • Face masks are required to enter the building.
  • If filing by mail, please see below mailing address.

BY APPOINTMENT:

  1. WITHDRAWING / FILING A WILL FOR SAFEKEEPING
  2. FILING ANNUAL GUARDIANSHIP REPORTS
  3. OBTAIN LETTERS TESTAMENTARY AND GUARDIANSHIP LETTERS
    • Face masks are required to enter the building. Also, visitors will be allowed to enter the building BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
    • You may schedule an appointment by sending an e-mail request to ProbateRecordsRequest@epcounty.com or by calling (915)546-2116.
    • Appointments are scheduled every 30 minutes and are available between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.
