Early Voting by Mail

- You may vote early by mail if you are:
- - going to be away from El Paso County on Election Day and during early voting;
- - disabled;
- - 65 years of age or older on Election Day; or
- - confined in jail, but eligible to vote.

- Download an Application for a Ballot by Mail (PDF), or Download a Letter For a Ballot by Mail (PDF) to request that a ballot by mail be sent to you. It must include:

- a. voter registration certificate number
- b. name and address in El Paso County
- c. mailing address if different from above
- d. your signature (or a witness' signature if you cannot sign);
- e. date or name of election
- f. political party for primaries only
- g. reason why you are voting by mail

- Applications or Letter for a ballot by mail should be sent to:

- You have 60 days before Election Day and until the 7th day before the Election to submit an application or letter.

- If you are voting early by mail you must send your application or letter by:
- - Regular mail
- - UPS or Federal Express

- After the early voting clerk receives your application or letter with all required information, you will be mailed a ballot.

- When you are finished voting, mail your ballot in the envelope provided. The early voting clerk must receive your voted ballot no later than 7 p.m. Election Day. Please call (915) 546-2154 for assistance..
