- About Us
- Each Justice of the Peace Court has original jurisdiction in criminal case where the fine does not exceed $500, and civil matter when the amount in controversy does not exceed $10,000. A Justice of the Peace may issue search and arrest warrant, conduct preliminary hearings, perform marriages, and is elected for a term of four years.
