The El Paso County Office of the Medical Examiner works with Local, State, and Federal agencies to identify and reunite deceased individuals received by the OME with their families. For those decedents who remain unidentified, the OME makes available a brief description of the decedent’s features (scars tattoos, hair length, etc) as well as personal items found on or near the body.
