TRAFFIC STOP ARREST – ISRAEL RUBIO
El Paso, Texas – On Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 7:48 pm, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Deputies from the Peter J Herrera Patrol Station were dispatched to Gateway East and Horizon Blvd. in reference to a suspicious vehicle attempting to conduct a traffic stop, using red and blue lights. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Chrysler 300 with red and blue lights, which was not a law enforcement vehicle. Upon further investigation, the driver Israel Rubio, 21 was taken into custody for Impersonating a Public Servant, and narcotics were also found in his possession. Rubio was booked into the El Paso County Detention for the following charges:
· Impersonating Public Servant under a bond of $7,500
· MAN DEL CS PG 1>= 4G<200G under a bond of $10,000
