NEW PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION MOST WANTED FURever HOME
-
February 25, 2022
El Paso, Texas – Due to the over-abundance of dogs and cats at City of El Paso’s Animal Services facility, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office will be implementing, “Sheriff’s Office MOST WANTED FURever Home”. This flyer will be released on a weekly basis by sharing it with Local Media and Social Media outputs. The Flyer will promote adoptable pets that are looking to find a FURever home. All MOST WANTED pets will come with their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and registration. Pets will also be sent home with pet food and supplies (bowls, leash, and collar).
Additionally, during the pandemic, the El Paso community has seen a drastic increase of dogs and cats roaming the streets, being “dumped” by their caretakers, and/or being turned into Animal Control Officials. It is imperative that we reduce the number of stray and unwanted animals by reducing the number of litters. Citizens are encouraged to spay or neuter their pets by taking them to their vet or using the City and County spay and neuter services, if available.
Our mission is to assist City of El Paso’s Animal Services facility by creating adoption awareness for future pet parents in El Paso County. If you are interested, visit https://elpasoanimalservices.org/. or call 915 212-PAWS
