ACTIVE SHOOTER PRESENTATION AT TEXAS KIDS DENTAL CARE – WESTSIDE LOCATION

EL PASO, TEXAS – On Monday, August 7, 2023, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Deputies from the Community Service Section gave a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event course to twenty-two staff members employed with Texas Kids Dental Care, located at 7480 Remcon Circle. This presentation is designed to assist civilians in understanding what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The course is aimed and developed on the AVOID, DENY, and DEFEND strategies originated by ALERT, and it provides strategies, guidance, and a plan for surviving and active shooter event.
