Communications Department

The Communication Departments' primary responsibilities are to provide telecommunication and information services for the El Paso County Government. This includes the main switchboard located at the County Courthouse serving four buildings and in addition, the Leo Samaniego Law Enforcement Complex and the new Sheriff Headquarters located at 3850 Justice Road adjacent to the Law Enforcement Complex.  Many other smaller key phone systems are maintained by the Communication Department at more than fifty-sites throughout the County, which includes moves, adds & changes, fax and modem lines and special circuits. The department is on call 24 hours a day.
