U.S. Passports

- New Application for a U.S. Passport
To obtain a passport for the first time, you may go to the El Paso County District Clerk's office in person (one of 7,000 passport acceptance facilities located throughout the United States) with the following:

- - Two photographs of yourself,
- - Proof of U.S. citizenship, and
- - A valid form of photo identification such as a driver's license.

- If you are obtaining both the Passport Book and the Passport Card simultaneously, the execution fee is assessed only once (per person). For expedited service, please add $60.00 for each application. The Passport Card will permit travel, by land, across the U.S. - Mexico and U.S. - Canada borders.
