Pretrial interviews provide information to Judges, staff, and officers that make determinations based on the defendants status. This includes interviewing defendants with structured assessments to measure flight risk or danger to the community in addition to determining eligibility for a court appointed attorney.

Court Appointed Attorney

What is a court appointed attorney?
Court Appointed Attorneys are lawyers who provide legal counsel to people who are charged with criminal offenses and cannot afford to pay for an attorney. There is an application process to determine if you qualify for a court appointed attorney.

Please provide the following documents to determine your eligibility

  • Any and all income received by defendant and spouse
  • Pay Check Stubs, SSI, Social Security, Retirement
  • Most current Tax Return filed
  • Proof of current Mortgage/Rent payment
  • Proof of current vehicle payment
  • Proof of government benefits (food stamps, TANF, Medicaid)
