The El Paso County Tax Assessor-Collector currently has seven county tax office locations and eleven contracted full-service deputy offices conveniently located throughout the city.
County tax offices provide services for motor vehicle registration, renewals & titling, beer & wine permits, occupational permits, hotel / motel taxes, 68-A inspections, and property tax collections (collected October through January 31).
For an additional convenience fee, contracted full-service deputy offices provide motor vehicle registration, renewals & titling transactions.
Full Service Deputies are privately owned contracted offices that give El Paso County residents an alternate choice of convenient locations where they can obtain vehicle registration services and perform title transfers for an additional convenience fee.
*On high-volume days, the County Tax Offices may close the doors earlier than the scheduled time based on the number of customers waiting to be serviced.
