Recent Accomplishments

Northwest County Clerk Annex
The Northwest Annex provides services for birth, death, and marriage records.  The County Clerk's office always looks for opportunities where we can better serve our County's constituents.

When the doors to our Northwest Annex opened in January of 2024, we did so to provide a better location for the constituents who live in Western and Northwestern El Paso County.

Constituents receive the same level of customer service they would receive at any of our other locations throughout the County of El Paso. Our Northwest Annex is another example of how The County Clerk's office continues to find ways to better serve our great community!
Property Fraud Alert Software
The threat of mortgage fraud and identity theft crimes continues to rise, and all too often, victims of these types of fraudulent activities are unaware that their homes or identities have been stolen.

Property Fraud Alert is an online subscription service offered to the public at NO COST. The software allows constituents to have their name monitored within the Recorder’s office to track possible fraudulent recordings that affect their property.

After launching our Property Fraud alert software in June of 2024, we have seen an increase in registered users. To date, over 1,000 names have been registered in the software for monitoring.

New Downtown Vitals Office
Part of the County Clerk’s mission statement is “providing the utmost accurate, professional, and efficient service to our community.”

In September of 2024, the County clerk’s office opened its new Vitals office at the Downtown location.  Located on the first floor of the Enrique Moreno Courthouse, our Vitals office offers constituents a dedicated office to process requests through our Vitals Division. The office now has six stations ready to assist customers throughout the day.

Customers using our available forms to request certified copies of birth, death, or marriage certificates or our online Marriage Application will receive the most professional and efficient customer service.

What’s Ahead

Fort Bliss County Clerk Annex
Whether it be allowing veterans to record and request copies of their DD214s at no charge, waiving fees for veterans wishing to record an assumed name, or creating an express station in our Vitals Division specifically dedicated to active military and veterans, the County Clerk's office has always supported our active and retired military community.

The next step in our continued support of our military community will be the grand opening of our Fort Bliss Annex location in the Fall of 2025. This office will be located inside the Fort Bliss Welcome Center, located at 505 Pershing Rd.

This location will provide civilians, active military, and military veterans who live or work on Fort. Bliss a dedicated office to assist them with any of our Vitals Division services. All this without having to leave Fort Bliss.
New Vitals Mobile Unit
The County Clerk's office will be expanding its reach to constituents we can assist. In the Summer of 2025, the County Clerk's office will be rolling out our state-of-the-art Vitals Mobile Unit.

Our Vitals Van will serve as a mobile unit to visit various locations throughout the County of El Paso. Locations will include communities in the county without reasonable access to our offices, as well as local libraries, Texas Department of Public Safety locations, and other locations that could benefit from our Mobile Vitals Unit.

The Mobile Vitals unit will be able to process requests for certified copies of birth, death, and marriage certificates. Constituents will also be able to apply for Marriage certificates.

Constituents will be able to visit a link that will take them directly to the schedule showing the dates, times, and locations the Mobile Vitals Unit will be visiting.
