Mission

To improve the health and wellbeing of El Paso County employees and their families through targeted disease fighting strategies, education, and activities that support healthy lifestyle changes creating a more productive and engaged workforce while achieving healthcare savings.

Our goal is to empower El Paso County employees to strive in becoming or continuing to be active, well-informed, and healthy. As the wellness program continues to evolve, we are introducing new opportunities to our range of strategies to support their well-being, including but not limited to:

What is our wellness incentive program?

Our wellness program is designed to empower employees to adopt a healthier lifestyle while fostering a positive and supportive work culture. Through targeted programs addressing top chronic conditions and all areas of well-being, employees can engage in activities that promote long-term health and wellness.

This program provides incentives for participation in wellness initiatives, encouraging employees to take proactive steps toward improving their overall health. By focusing on education, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices, the program supports both individual well-being and a more productive workplace.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Employees must be enrolled in the County medical plan.
  • Employees must be actively employed at the time of payout, unless otherwise stated.
  • Wellness screening must be completed by October 31st to qualify for a medical premium discount, subject to approval by the Commissioners Court per program year.
  • Participation in the wellness incentive program is strictly voluntary.
