In addition to the $10,000 of Basic Life Insurance the County of El Paso provides, eligible employees can purchase more coverage by enrolling in a supplemental term life insurance program. (Includes AD & D)
Spouse covered under Medical Plan - $2,000
Child(ren)*: 14 days - 6 mo. - $500.00
6 mo. - age 26* - $1,000.00

Example:
Employee is 37 years old and his annual salary is $15,000. He elects $100,000 supplemental life insurance. He also elects $50,000 supplemental life insurance for his spouse, who is 33 years old.
100 x 0.08 = $8.00 per month
50 x 0.062 = $3.10 per month
