- Deputy Angelica Becerra
- Deputy Angelica Becerra is currently a 19 year veteran with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and holds a Master Peace Officer License. Deputy Becerra joined the Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer with an Associate of Arts Degree in Law Enforcement in 1993. In 2001, Deputy Becerra achieved the rank of Detention Corporal and continued her education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Psychology followed by a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling. During her 11 year career within the Detention Division, Deputy Becerra was also a member of the Special Response Team for 8 years. In 2004 she completed the Basic Peace Officer Academy and was assigned to the Patrol Bureau working the Upper and Lower-Valley Districts of El Paso County, Texas. In 2006, Deputy Becerra was assigned to the Community Services section as a School Resource Officer in the San Elizario District. Deputy Becerra became a member of the Sheriff’s Office Crisis Negotiation Team in 2008 and in 2010 she was assigned to the Public Affairs Office Section where she holds the title of Public Information Officer and looks forward to serving the citizens of El Paso County.
