  • Northwest Patrol Station
  • The El Paso County Sheriff's Office Northwest Patrol Station is located on the far west side of the County and is responsible for staffing four patrol districts that includes calls in the city of El Paso that originated in the county. All assigned to the Northwest Patrol Station offer around the clock, year round patrol service to the community. The Northwest Patrol Station covers a smaller area than the Montana Station and is located in the Village of Vinton (city). The Northwest Patrol Station responsibilities include patrolling the Village of Vinton, Canutillo, Westway area and assisting the municipality of Anthony police officers. The Northwest Patrol Station handles all County related calls for service that originate west from the Texas/New Mexico border (Anthony Exit 0) to mile marker 4.5 I-10 east bound, including the majority of Transmountain Rd. Deputies assigned to the Northwest Patrol Station handle calls of service that range from criminal, civil and enforce traffic laws among the roads in the county and surrounding areas. Also, the Northwest Patrol Station is responsible for calls of service that originate from the County Buildings in the City of El Paso such as: R.E. Thompson General Hospital, the County Coliseum, Ascarate Park, County Court House, Juvenile Probation Dept., West Texas Community Supervision ( Probation) Dept and Downtown Detention Facility. Deputies assigned to the Northwest Patrol Station have a less call volume than the Montana Station and spend the majority of their time conducting on scene investigations, follow ups, warrant roundups, stationary traffic enforcement, special operations to include outside agencies and other self initiated police work.
