The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy is a Veterans’ Administration approved school. Students attending basic licensing courses at the academy are eligible for Veterans Educational Benefits. The Training Academy maintains an active articulation agreement with El Paso Community College. Students may apply for awarded credit for Basic Peace Officer Course #1000 and Basic County Corrections Officer Course #1007.
Unless otherwise indicated, class hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Parking is available in Academy area parking lot, with respect to RESERVED PARKING immediately in front of Academy Building. All registrations must have supervisory approval.
