  • Information received indicates the Calzada may be traveling & could be taking advantage of the open border between Hudspeth County, Texas and Dona Ana County, New Mexico as he crosses back and forth into Mexico.   • MARTINEZ is wanted in connection with the MURDER Hector Longoria.
  • On or about 04-02-2008, Raymundo Martinez, Oscar Barrera along with Adrian Madrid confront victim Hector Longoria in the Agua Dulce area located near Horizon. The suspects assault the victim with a bat & fists results in the death of Hector Longoria. The victim was transported in his own vehicle by the suspects to the desert area and buried. The suspects retained the victim’s vehicle where they transported it south to Mexico where they sold it to unknown person(s).

  • SOCORRO, TX– Early Monday morning 6-22-2009 at approximately 2:00 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Socorro police Dept. are dispatched to the A & M Bar located at 11638 Alameda Socorro, TX in reference to a shooting with subjects down. Authorities arrive to find two victims - shot once each. Preliminary investigation reveals that prior to the incident, approximately 40 individuals were inside the bar when an argument ensued among some patrons. The argument led to a confrontation outside the bar where reports indicate over 20 individuals were seen outside the establishment as events unfolded. The argument resulted in a physical altercation leading to “shots fired”.
  • RICARDO ZUNIGA (29) been identified as the “SHOOTER” & remains on the run eluding capture from U.S. authorities. The motive for the violent murders is still unclear at this time.
  • ZUNIGA is believed to remain in the Borderland & shows a previous address in San Elizario, TX. Zuniga has several contacts in Fabens, San Elizario, Socorro & the El Paso areas & obviously knows he is wanted.
  • ZUNIGA is considered armed & extremely dangerous. A “Wanted Bulletin” on ZUNIGA was issued to regional Law Enforcement last week warning authorities to use extreme caution if they come into contact & encounter ZUNIGA.
  • CID Detectives continue with this investigation as more arrests are forthcoming.   • WEIGHT: 130 lbs.
  • TATTOO: Rojas has a tattoo of the Virgin Mary on his back that runs from his neck area all the way down to his lower back. He has a tattoo on either his right or left bicep of a drawing of his wife and the name "Rosa". On his other arm, opposite to the drawing of his wife, he has another tattoo of a saint. Rojas also has a scar of the shape of a heart on his left chest area.

  • ROJAS is accused of sexually assaulting his three granddaughters.
  • In March 2008, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a residence in San Elizario, TX. The Reporters who are the biological daughters of Rojas & mothers of the Victim’s reported to authorities that their daughters had made outcries to them that they had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by their grandfather (Rojas) over the past year. Rojas committed lewd sex acts and sexually assaulted his three young granddaughters ages- 8, 9, & 10.
  • The case was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office Sex Crime Unit.
  • Sheriff’s Detectives have issued out an ARREST WARRANT for the apprehension of Luis Lopez Rojas. The charges are 2 counts of AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT (CHILD) - $300,000 combined Bonds & INDECENCY w/ a CHILD -$75,000 Bond.
  • Rojas has been deported in the past due to a felony conviction for narcotics trafficking and being in the United States Illegally. Rojas is known to run from Law Enforcement.
  • ***Recent information received indicates Rojas has altered his physical appearance by shaving his mustache and he has dyed his hair black. It is also said Rojas is back in the U.S. & has been seen in the San Elizario, TX area.***

  • PAYAN is wanted for sexually assaulting his then stepdaughter back in 2001.
  • Several years ago, Payan began fondling & inappropriately touching his stepdaughter who was 8 years old at the time. He went on to sexually assault her. In recent years, the Victim (who is now 15-will not be identified) came forward to make her outcry.
  • Sheriff’s Detectives have issued out a warrant for the apprehension of Mario Payan.
  • Recent information received indicates Payan has been spotted as recent as 2 weeks ago. He is said to be driving a brown truck and doing landscaping work in the Northeast part of El Paso, TX.
  • The offender has contacts in the Westway area located in the Upper Valley as well as in the southern New Mexico area.

  • On September 30, 2006 at 12:27 AM, Deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (fatality) at the intersection of Doniphan Dr and Park in Canutillo, TX.
  • Special Traffic Investigator's determined that a 1998 Burgundy Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling north on Doniphan on the right hand lane. The driver of vehicle veered off the east side of Doniphan onto the improved shoulder and then crossed Park Avenue and onto the north unimproved shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle then went airborne over a drainage ditch and struck a pole located north of the drainage ditch.
  • The female Victim (front passenger) later identified as Rosa Maria Villalobos of the 800 block of Franklin St. Anthony, TX died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
  • The driver of the vehicle was the Victim's live-in boyfriend at the time & was identified as Juan Garcia (DOB: 02-16-69). Garcia was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Garcia was uncooperative with Traffic Investigator's from the onset. Upon his release from the hospital, Garcia disappeared never to be heard from again.
  • Special Traffic Investigator's have issued a warrant of arrest for the apprehension of Juan Garcia for the charge of INTOXICATED MANSLAUGHTER w/ MOTOR VEHICLE $35,000 BOND
  • Recent information received indicates GARCIA may be frequenting the Upper Valley area.
  • The offender has contacts in Canutillo, TX- Southern New Mexico & Juarez, Mexico.
  • Garcia has an extensive arrest record for alcohol related offenses such as Multiple Driving while intoxicated arrests & Public Intoxication.

  • The Manhunt is on for Hugo Dominguez Martinez
  • Martinez was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child (2 counts) in OCHILTREE, TX and has a duty to register as a sex offender for 10 years. In one of the incidents, a victim sustained a severe eye injury as her eye was knocked out of the socket.
  • After his conviction, Martinez signed a Pre-Release Notification Form under the Texas Sex Offender Registration Program. Martinez was living in our area residing at 1700 Horizon, the Multi Use Facility, El Paso County, TX. As of 09-23-8008 he has absconded from the El Paso Parole Office. Martinez has cut off his ankle monitor and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.
  • Martinez is known to have numerous contacts in El Paso, TX & may be residing with someone in our area. He is also known to have family in Perryton, TX.

  • On September 3, 2009 at 3:40 PM, Detectives from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against City, in El Paso County, Texas, regarding an Aggravated Kidnapping. The victim, identified as Sergio Person Section were summoned by the Horizon Police Department to 14327 Desert Sunset, Horizon Saucedo (30), was forcibly taken from his residence at gun point. Mr. Saucedo was later found murdered in Juarez, Mexico.
  • On November 6 2009 a warrant was obtained for RICARDO PUENTES MORALES for Aggravated Kidnapping with a 1.5 million dollar bond. MORALES continues to elude capture as investigator’s continue to look for him. It is believed RICARDO PUENTES MORALES orchestrated the Kidnapping.

  • APRIL 29, 2009 at 4:45 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area Montana and Zaragoza in reference to a theft call (fuel run) at the Flying J Truck Stop. Responding units were looking for a Gold or Bronze colored Truck Tractor (w/ no trailer) traveling west on Montana. A Sheriff’s Deputy spotted a truck tractor matching the description given & conducted a traffic stop on a 1994 International Truck Tractor, with Mexico license plates at the intersection of Montana & Joe Battle.
  • The Sheriff’s Deputy made contact with the driver and noticed he was acting extremely nervous. The Deputy then instructed the driver exit the vehicle but he refused. The driver was again given verbal commands and did not comply, but instead and attempted to drive off & flee. The Deputy took hold of the driver while standing on the drivers side of the tractor truck. The driver of the vehicle then assaulted the Deputy by punching him repeatedly and shoving him off the vehicle while in motion traveling westbound on Montana. The driver lost control of the vehicle and veered right striking a light pole knocking it down.
  • The Sheriff’s Deputy could not keep his balance while being struck numerous times & fell to the ground landing on the westbound unimproved shoulder of the road. The Sheriff’s Deputy sustained several injuries to his head, face, neck, arms, back and legs. He was transported by Ambulance to Sierra East Medical Center for further treatment.
  • Several witnesses provided information which led Deputies to the intersection of Pebble Hills and Saul Kleinfield where the suspect vehicle was located unattended in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart. Through surveillance video from the Wal-mart Deputies determined a direction of travel of the suspect. A track of the suspect was commenced in the neighborhood south of the Wal-Mart which included the Pebble Hills, Saul Kleinfield & Royal Woods area.
  • Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers and multiple of units from the El Paso Police Department / K-9 tracking teams assisted in the search for the suspect. After nearly a 4 hour MANHUNT, the search for the suspect was unsuccessful & was terminated near the Royal Woods neighborhood. Several pieces of evidence were located & collected at the scene.
  • April 30, 2009- After talking to several witnesses, the driver / suspect was positively identified as RAUL LOPEZ (50) of FABENS, TX.
  • LOPEZ is known to have numerous contacts in Clint, Fabens, El Paso, TX & Juarez, Mexico. He may be hiding with someone here in our area as he continues to elude capture.
  • Sheriff’s Office Detectives are asking anyone who may live in the area of Royal woods & may have witnessed the suspect in the area or knows the whereabouts or has seen RAUL LOPEZ is urged to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477).   • WESTWAY, TX 2004- On Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 11:04 a.m., 46- year-old Armando Ignacio Hernandez was found stabbed to death in his home at 8601 Coach Westway, TX.
  • Authorities were close in apprehending URQUIDI on several occasions that year as it was learned he was making attempts to contact his relatives who live in Anthony, New Mexico.
  • The trail for URQUIDI grew cold as it was believed he fled to Mexico in his desperate attempt to elude authorities. The search for CARLOS URQUIDI continues. It is believed URQUIDI may be once again attempting to return to our area & is on the move between Anthony, New Mexico, El Paso, Texas, Midland, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Durango, Colorado, Tucson, Arizona and Chihuahua, Mexico.
  • URQUIDI is described as a Hispanic male, medium build, 5’ 8” tall, approximately 160 pounds with a “Tribal Wreath” tattoo on his left arm, Face of an Indian on his right arm & a tattoo on his chest which reads “Urquidi”.
  • CARLOS URQUIDI is considered ARMED & DANGEROUS. His bond is set at $250,000.00.
