IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19:

Effective 7/19/2021. The County Clerk’s Northeast and Ysleta Annex offices will be open on a walk-in basis to issue out Birth and Death Records from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with minimum capacity.

The Downtown Office will be assisting with all vital services by appointment only.

  • For an appointment please e-mail Vitals@epcounty.com and include your name, phone number and services needed.

  • You will be contacted by phone call, in the order the e-mail requests was received.

  • *To maintain facility capacity and social distancing, limited appointments are available.*

  • Face masks are required to enter the building.

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment.

  • As a courtesy to others, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late. If your appointment is cancelled, you will have to reschedule repeating the same process above.

Birth and Death Record Application Process:

Step 1
Fill Out Application
All appicants must identify the requested record by filling out the Application for Birth or Death Record at the County Clerk's Office.
Step 2
Present Valid ID
Applicant must present valid identification - see Texas Administrative Code Section 181.28(i)(10)(11)

You may order a certified copy of a birth or death certificate through:
