  • The Evidence & Abandon Motor Vehicle Section is civilianized unit comprised of Evidence Supervisor and five Evidence Clerks
  • Office Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

  • Mission Statement:
    To maintain the integrity and preservation of Property, Evidence, Narcotics and Vehicles in a secure and safe manner. Provide Quality Service to other agencies and the general public. Create high quality work culture that emphasizes on leadership, management and technical skills including safety.

  • Duties:
    The Evidence section is responsible for storing and maintaining all evidence collected thru criminal/narcotic cases and evidence from judicial hearings. This section also maintains custody of all recovered, lost or stolen property and is responsible for the destruction of evidence as ordered by a court of record.

    The Abandoned Motor Vehicle department is responsible for the storage and safe keeping of vehicles that were impounded for investigative purposes throughout the County of El Paso by the Sheriff’s office.
