WANTED SEX OFFENDER – HAGLE, CHRISTOPHER GEORGE

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Christopher George Hagle.

On Monday, November 25, 2019, Christopher George Hagle absconded from the El Paso Multi-Use Facility located at 1700 Horizon Blvd. After reporting to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registration Unit, he cut off his ankle monitor alerting TDCJ Parole. His last location was the Family Dollar located at 12020 Montana El Paso, TX.

He failed to return to the facility, his whereabouts are unknown and is now wanted on a Parole Violation. An additional charge of Fail to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His sex offense is for Aggravated Sexual Assault Child out of the State of Texas the victim(s) being a 12-year-old female and is currently on parole for Sex Offenders Duty to Register.

El Paso, TX- The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has launched a FREE Spay and Neuter Program for residents of El Paso County.

Animals that are spayed or neutered can also receive their microchip, rabies and booster shots FREE. Services cannot be administered independently; you must have the three services done the same day.

The spay and neuter program is open to residents of Horizon City, Vinton, Anthony, Clint, and residents of other unincorporated areas within El Paso County. 

**** Spay and Neuter services will now be available by appointment ONLY. ****

Please take note of the following before booking your spay and neuter appointment.

MISSING PERSON – MENDOZA, JESSICA MARIE

November 22, 2019

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the assistance of the El Paso County community in locating the following missing person.

Jessica Marie Mendoza, age 15, left her residence on November 14, 2019, at approximately 8:00 pm, and she has not returned home since.

She was last seen wearing a white shirt, purple shorts, and brown hiking boots.

She requires medication, which she has been without since leaving her residence.

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Julio Adrian Martinez.

On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, Julio Adrian Martinez absconded from the El Paso Multi-Use Facility located at 1700 Horizon Blvd. Martinez was allowed a pass to the Social Security office located at 11111 Gateway West Blvd. and his whereabouts are now unknown. Martinez cut-off his ankle monitor at the intersection of Ochoa St. and Myrtle Ave. He is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Fail to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His sex offense is for Engaging in Illicit Sexual Conduct in Foreign Places, the victim being a 15-year-old female. He is on Parole for Fail to Comply with Sex Offender Registration.

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Juan Felipe Vasquez.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2019, Juan Felipe Vasquez absconded from the El Paso Multi-Use Facility located at 1700 Horizon Blvd. Vasquez was allowed a pass to the store but never returned to the facility and his whereabouts are now unknown.

He is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Fail to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His sex offense is for Burglary of Habitation Intend Sex Offense, the victim being a 43-year-old female. He is on Parole for Sex Offenders Duty to Register.

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Robert John Barela.

On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, Robert John Barela absconded from the El Paso Transitional Living Center located at 1650 Horizon Blvd. He was allowed a pass to the Texas Workforce Commission located at 8825 North Loop Dr. but never returned to the facility and his whereabouts are now unknown.

He is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Fail to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His sex offense is for Online Solicitation of a Minor, the victim being a 14-year-old female. He is on Parole for Online Solicitation of a Minor and Sex Offenders Duty to Register.

TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN NARCOTICS ARREST

El Paso, TX – On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of one individual in east El Paso County.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Mark Twain Ave. and Nonap Rd., the vehicle was missing its Texas registration sticker on the windshield.

Deputies made contact with Isaiah Jesus Sanchez, age 23, who allowed them to search the vehicle. The search yielded the seizure of 12.5 grams of THC, 5 ounces of Marijuana, and a firearm.

Sanchez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Man Del CS PG 2 or 2A>=4G<400G, Poss Marij >4oz<=5lbs, and Unlawful Carrying of Weapon totaling $35,000 in bonds.

No other information is available at this time.

El Paso, TX - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Region VIII Academy hosted an SRT (Special Response Team) School, November 4 -8, 2019.

The week-long school provided training to Sheriff’s Office Detention Officers, Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, Brazil Federal Prison Penitentiary, ICE Detention Processing Center, Otero New Mexico Prison, Department of Homeland Security, and U.S. Border Patrol.

These 60 officers practiced One Man Cell Extractions, Two Man Tactics extractions, and Hostage and Rescue in a correctional setting. The training also focused on crowd control in a correctional setting and a public setting. Participants received the latest and most up-to-date techniques and practices.

Both Sheriff’s Office Jail Facilities, Region VIII Academy Range, and Ascarate Park were used as training locations.

Course Coordinator Officer Luis Trevino, course instructors, and participants would like to THANK – Sheriff Richard D. Wiles, Public Affairs Director Chris Acosta, Sheriff’s Office Motor Pool, Emergency Management Deputies Dominguez, and Alvarez, the Region VIII Academy, ICE Detention Camp-Instructors, and Otero Prison for providing buses to transport participants.

El Paso, TX - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Region VIII Academy will be hosting an SRT (Special Response Team) School, November 4 -8, 2019.

The school will provide training to Sheriff’s Office Detention Officers, Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, Brazil Federal Prison Penitentiary, ICE Detention Processing Center, Otero New Mexico Prison, Department of Homeland Security, and U.S. Border Patrol.

The different agencies participating in this course have made the completion of this training a requirement for their officers.

These 70 officers will practice One Man Cell Extractions, Two Man Tactics extractions, Riot/Civil Disturbance, and Hostage and Rescue in a Correctional Setting. Both Sheriff’s Office Jail Facilities, Region VIII Academy Range, and Ascarate Park will be used as training locations.
