APPROVED SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER PROGRAM IN FABENS SCHOOLS

El Paso, Texas- On March 7, 2022, during the El Paso County Commissioners Court Meeting, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office presented to approve and authorize the interlocal agreement between El Paso County and Fabens Independent School District to have School Resource Officers at their district beginning March 1, 2022, through September 30, 2025. This agreement was approved and will add three deputy positions. Fabens ISD joins Clint ISD, San Elizario ISD, and Socorro ISD in partnering with the Sheriff’s Office to create a safer environment for their schools.
